DUE TO FIRE SEASON, FOREST SERVICE PERSONEL HAS NOT BEEN ABLE TO RESPOND TO ALL THE RFI QUESTIONS AS OF TODAY. EXTENDING THE QUOTE PACKAGE DUE DATE TO 6-26-2026 AT 12:00pm MOUNTAIN TIME. ONCE RFI RESPONSES ARE POSTED HERE, THE FOREST SERVICE WILL ENSURE THERE WILL BE 7 DAYS TO SUBMIT QUOTE PACKAGES, BUT WILL NOT BE SOONER THAN 6-26-2026.

The existing HVAC systems serving facilities at the Smokey Bear Ranger District have sustained significant operational degradation due to wildfire impacts and subsequent water intrusion, resulting in compromised indoor air quality, reduced system reliability and increased risk of equipment failure. This project proposes full replacement and upgrade to HVAC systems to restore safe, functional and compliant building operations. During recent wildfire events airborne ash and fine particulate matter infiltrated multiple buildings and mechanical systems. Ash accumulation has been documented within ductwork and air handling components
