Hypobaric Chamber Maintenance at Ft. Rucker, AL

This Sources Sought is for non‑personal services to perform scheduled maintenance, inspections, help‑desk support, unscheduled/emergency repairs, and potential upgrade(s) installation for one (1) Government‑owned Guardite Co. Model 20M331 Hypobaric Chamber (Serial No. 61824010) located at the Department of Aviation Medicine, Fort Rucker, Alabama.

Planned maintenance includes on‑site inspections of pumps, batteries, chamber structure, seals, leak checks, sensors, communication systems, O₂ regulators, student stations, and rapid decompression systems; review of preventive maintenance documentation; minor “no‑materials” repairs using Government‑provided spares; and Post‑Inspection Repair Solutions/Recommendations reporting. Unscheduled/emergency support may include remote troubleshooting, fault isolation, travel, repair labor, and replacement parts categorized as CAT‑1/2/3 discrepancies. A Draft PWS is attached/available in this SAM posting for reference.

Anticipated Period of Performance: Base Year + 4 Option Years, plus option to extend up to six months (FAR 52.217-8). Performance estimated to begin 01 March 2027.

Submission Instructions

• Provide organization name, UEI, current small/large business status, office locations, and point-of-contact information.
• Submit a tailored capability statement, not more than 10 pages, addressing capability to perform the requirements, relevant certifications, and demonstrating experience maintaining hypobaric/hyperbaric or altitude physiology systems.
• Address capacity for PM inspections, emergency maintenance, troubleshooting, help-desk support, and system upgrades.
