The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) proposes enhancing pedestrian safety at the uncontrolled crosswalk at the Interstate (I-) 880 northbound on-ramp from westbound Lewelling Boulevard in response to a public request. The project will install one rectangular rapid flashing beacon (RRFB) on the same post as the existing pedestrian crossing warning sign on the right side of the pedestrian crosswalk.
