Full Description

SYNOPSIS This is a notice for a forthcoming solicitation for commercial services to perform Preventative & Remedial maintenance support on IBM Hardware located at Tinker AFB, Ok. This announcement is only a notice. A written solicitation will be issued at a later date. The proposed contract action is for services for which the Government intends to solicit as Competitive. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement. System for Award Management (SAM) registration is required to receive any award. The contract will be awarded as a basic plus two option years, services are to cover a total of 12 months. The Air Force Sustainment Center (AFSC/PZIMB) at Tinker Air Force Base Oklahoma, intends to negotiate a Firm Fixed price commercial contract with a Basic one (1) year Period plus two (2) year Option Periods type contract for the acquisition of non-personal services listed below: Preventive Maintenance (PM): The objective of PM is to protect the equipment capability and investment by removing causes of failure, performing routine maintenance and providing adjustment to compensate for normal wear before failure occurs. The Contractor shall perform all PM IAW the OEM specifications. The Contractor shall perform Monthly PM on each piece of equipment listed in Appendix A. The Contractor shall provide a copy of the PM schedule to the Government Point of Contact (GPOC) within five (5) business days after contract award. The Contractor shall notify the GPOC seven (7) business days prior to each scheduled PM visit. Remedial Maintenance (RM): RM is defined as unscheduled work requirements which are not otherwise defined in this PWS. RM includes but is not limited to the evaluation, troubleshooting and diagnosis of equipment to isolate the source of a malfunction.
