Install Infantry Moving Targets, Range 206, Grafenwoehr Training Area

The contract involves the installation of infantry moving targets and associated infrastructure at Range 206 in the Grafenwoehr Training Area, Germany. Key elements of the work include installing prefabricated concrete target pits, constructing cable trenches with wiring and grounding systems, setting up five raised infantry firing positions and twenty stationary target pits, and adding protective wooden planks and embankments around the new target installations. Additional tasks cover creating new graved areas behind target positions, installing six lane markers at a range depth of 600 meters, demolishing nine old personnel target pits, and testing and disposing of demolished concrete and asphalt materials. This project will be executed under a firm fixed price contract valued between $500,000 and $1,000,000, with a total performance period of 300 calendar days, which includes a 20-day start-up phase.
