Full Description

This is a notice of intent of the VA Illiana Health Care System (HCS), Danville, IL to negotiate sole source with Danville Rescue Mission, 834 N Bowman Ave, Danville, IL to provide emergency/transitional housing. Contractor's facility must be geographically accessible to the VA Medical Center, Danville, IL and accessible to the Danville City Bus system. This is a follow-on contract action. The Government believes that only one responsible source can provide the services that will satisfy the agency requirements and intends to negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302. Other persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to this requirement to Susan Hargett-Evans by 4:30 p.m. (local time) April 4, 2005. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining weather to conduct this procurement on a competitive basis. No solicitation shall be made available and all information shall be furnished at no cost to the government. A determination not to open the requirements to competition based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. All inquiries must be submitted in writing; telephone inquiries will not be accepted.
