The Commander Fleet Readiness Centers (COMFRC) Procurement Group, Patuxent River, MD 20670 hereby gives notice of their intent to award a purchase order to Stratasys Inc (Cage Code: 1GKB4) on a sole source basis in accordance with RFO 6.103-1, “Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements.”
Fleet Readiness Center Southwest (FRCSW) has been tasked to procure evaluation, maintenance and repair services for a Stratasys F900 3D Printer, Part #125-6000, Serial #L244, which is a Government owned asset located at FRCSW, Bldg 472, Naval Air Station North Island, San Diego, California, 92135.
The contractor shall provide all technical services related to troubleshooting, evaluating, and repairing the 3D Printer in accordance with (IAW) Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) specifications and the Scope of Work and shall repair the 3D Printer to fully operational status.
THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES. However, all responsible sources my submit a capability statement, which, if received with three (3) calendar days after the date of publication of this synopsis, will be considered. A determination by the Government not to compete this requirement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. The information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. If you submit a capability statement, you must provide verifiable proof of certification from the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM), Stratasys Inc., to perform the required services. Only sources that can provide this OEM certification will be considered capable of performing the work.
