Invasive vegetation Eradication & Treatment

INTRODUCTION: Texas A&M AgriLife Research is seeking bids for the eradication and treatment of invasive vegetative species. Bidders shall offer a unit price response for each line item in this bid. Please read the terms and conditions carefully. Bidders and/or their representative may attend the bid opening if desired. The bid opening will be held at 578 John Kimbrough Blvd., Room #416, College Station, Texas 77843. Paid visitor parking is located in the first row of Lot 97. After the bids have been evaluated, the vendor receiving a bid award from this solicitation will be issued a purchase order. TERMS AND CONDITIONS: By submitting a bid, the bidder agrees to comply with all Agency terms and conditions. These supersede any other terms and conditions issued by the bidder. Additional federal terms & conditions apply. GOVERNING LAW: Any contract resulting from this bid solicitation shall be construed and governed by the laws of the State of Texas. PAYMENT TERMS: Net 30 days after services are rendered or receipt of correct invoice, whichever is later. APPLICABLE PERMITS: Prior to the commencement of any services, the awarded vendor shall obtain all permits required by Naval Air Station Corpus Christi (NASCC). The vendor shall comply with and maintain all required permits throughout the duration of the services. INSURANCE: Prior to the commencement of any services, the awarded vendor shall provide a valid and current certificate of insurance. The vendor shall comply with and maintain all insurance coverages and limits as set forth in the attached Insurance Requirements. When deemed appropriate by the Agency, questions will be answered by bid addendum. AWARD BASED ON BEST VALUE: The Agency reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids, to waive informalities and technicalities, to accept the offer considered most advantageous and award the bid based on best value criteria. In determining what is the best value to the Agency, the Agency shall consider any or all of the following: Purchase price The reputation of the vendor and the vendor's goods or services. The quality of the vendor's goods or services. The extent to which the goods or services meet the agency's needs. The vendor’s past relationship with the Agency. The total long-term cost to the Agency in acquiring the vendor’s good or services. The length and coverage of the vendor's warranty. The delivery time.
