Shared Services Canada is issuing an Invitation to Qualify to pre-qualify suppliers for the provision of notebooks and tablets across all in-scope Government of Canada departments and agencies. This initiative covers the supply, delivery, installation, warranty, and ongoing maintenance of mobile devices and their associated peripherals. The ITQ is the first phase in a multi-stage procurement process, designed to identify qualified vendors who will later be invited to submit detailed bids. Response submissions are due by July 30, 2026, and evaluators will assess compliance against mandatory technical criteria focused on deployment capabilities, with additional consideration given to delivery channels within Canada. Successful respondents will be placed on a standing offer with no set expiry date, though individual categories will initially be valid for two years and eligible for two optional two-year extensions. The procurement is open to all eligible suppliers under applicable trade agreements, with no national security exception invoked, and contracting obligations under Comprehensive Land Claim Agreements will be taken into account. No security requirements are attached to this requirement, and the process is designed to allow new suppliers to qualify or existing ones to expand their offerings into new categories as technology needs evolve, through future competitions on CanadaBuys.
