This project, managed by Navfac Washington for the Department of the Navy, involves the replacement of all existing Sharp-Eye infrared detectors with Det-Tronics Triple IR detectors within Phase 1 of the hangar. The scope of work requires that the new detectors be installed in the exact locations of the previous units to ensure consistency across the facility, as the Navy exclusively accepts Det-Tronics Triple IR technology for these environments. To ensure operational readiness, a qualified technician must properly configure the fields of view for all installed detectors. The contract mandates a comprehensive test of all infrared systems upon completion to verify full functionality and compliance with Navy standards.
