The City of Scotts Valley is soliciting proposals for comprehensive outsourced IT managed services to support its evolving technology environment. The scope of work encompasses cybersecurity, infrastructure administration, and end-user support, with a specific focus on maintaining Microsoft 365 Government Community Cloud, Azure, Teams Phone, Intune, and Entra services. The provider must be capable of managing Dell VxRail/VMware infrastructure, public-safety systems compliant with CJIS requirements, and a segmented Wastewater SCADA/operational technology environment. Key performance requirements include 24x7x365 support for network and critical infrastructure, as well as immediate response capabilities for Police Department technology incidents. The contract is structured for a three-year base term beginning July 1, 2027, with an option to extend for two additional years. Award selection is based on a points-weighted evaluation focusing on firm experience, understanding of the City's environment, technical capabilities regarding cybersecurity and CJIS, service delivery and SLAs, pricing structure, and municipal references. Compensation will be determined through a fee proposal including base monthly fees and hourly rates, with payments issued monthly based on satisfactory performance. Selected consultants must comply with California Labor Code prevailing wage rates and maintain insurance with an A.M. Best rating of at least A:VII.
