Full Description

Notice of Intent to award a Sole Source Procurement. The Government intends to issue a sole source purchase order for the programming direct digital control (DDC) and installation of necessary equipment to shutdown air handlers and exhaust fans for B500 to Honeywell, 11128 John Galt Blvd, Omaha, NE 68137. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 811310. The 55th Contracting Squadron intends to award a purchase order by other than full and open competition in accordance with Subpart 6.302-1 (a)(2)(ii). Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. This notice is not a request for competitive proposals. A determination not to compete this proposed procurement was made because this is a life safety project and it is imperative to award to a contractor familiar with all of the DDC control of the area. In addition, this contractor has installed and programmed all of the DDC in building 500 and know the programming and configuration changes necessary for this project.
