This contract represents an annual summary of the Repair Basic Ordering Agreement (BOA) N00383-09-G-001D with BAE Systems Information in New York, managed by NAVSUP Weapon Systems Support (WSS). It acts as a pre-solicitation notice for repair orders related to various components of the Navy Weapons System, emphasizing that individual orders may be issued exclusively for sole source items. The contract requires government source approval before award due to the critical nature of the items, which are flight critical or lack sufficient technical data to allow for full and open competition. Only previously approved sources are eligible to receive orders, and new sources must complete a rigorous approval process including submission of detailed technical data. The BOA ensures that repair orders are issued in accordance with legal procurement regulations under 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1). Potential contractors desiring source approval must follow procedures outlined in the NAVSUP Weapon Systems Support Source Approval Information Brochure, which is necessary to demonstrate capability or prior experience with similar items. Offers lacking the required documentation or acknowledgment of an ongoing approval process will not be considered. Timely approval is critical, and if not achievable, award decisions will prioritize fleet support needs to maintain operational readiness. All communications and requests for further information are directed to NAVSUP WSS in Philadelphia, with specific contact details provided for Magdalini Dimitrakis.
