The contract pertains to a Request for Information (RFI) issued by the Department of the Interior for maintenance support of the Integrated Digital Voice Communication (IDVC) system, including hardware and software maintenance of telephony nodes across various U.S. locations. The RFI, initially released in November 2013, has been amended to extend response deadlines and to gather potential subcontractors' or teaming partners’ contact information for future solicitation opportunities. The Government seeks vendors capable of performing all or part of the maintenance work, which involves 24/7 support via a toll-free number with certified technicians dispatched within four hours if remote resolution is not possible, on-site technical support at the Denver OCIO location, and a certified Genesys Administrator to manage the Genesys product suite, either remotely or onsite in Denver or Washington D.C. Additionally, the contractor may be tasked with installing telephony hardware and software due to failures, wear, or expansion. Submissions for potential teaming partners require only company and contact details, while responses to the capabilities survey, which requests comments on the draft Performance Work Statement, are due separately. The Government clarifies it will not mediate subcontracting or teaming arrangements, leaving coordination solely to the vendors. The full details are accessible through Fed Connect and GSA eBuy portals for interested parties. This market survey aims to inform a forthcoming Request for Proposal or Quote expected in early 2014, under NAICS code 811213, reflecting the technical maintenance service requirements of this telephony system contract.
