Contractors interested in obtaining specifications, drawings, and technical information for MLCPAC(vpl) ship or boat repair solicitations are now required to register on the Federal Technical Data Solutions (FedTeDS) website. This platform is designed to securely distribute Sensitive But Unclassified acquisition materials and is integrated with FedBizOpps and the Central Contractor Registration. Beginning with the Drydock and Repair solicitation for USCGC KISKA, all related specifications will be accessible exclusively through FedTeDS, while solicitation notices will continue to be posted on FedBizOpps with direct links to FedTeDS for downloading required documents. To register on FedTeDS, contractors must provide their Central Contractor Registration Marketing Partner Identification Number, CAGE Code or DUNS Number, telephone number, and email address. It is emphasized that registration may take several days, so contractors are encouraged to enroll promptly to avoid delays in accessing specifications and submitting requests, such as for drawing CD-ROMs. Support is available through the FedTeDS Help Desk during business hours for any registration difficulties. This new system enhances security and streamlines the dissemination of sensitive acquisition data for Department of Homeland Security procurement efforts.
