This announcement is a special notice issued by the Department of Veterans Affairs for market research purposes only and does not represent a solicitation or request for proposals. The Government seeks information from qualified small businesses, including Service Disabled Veteran Owned, Veteran Owned, 8(a), HUBZone, and other small business entities, to assess their capabilities in maintaining and operating specialized water treatment equipment across two New Jersey sites. The scope involves maintaining six Sanipur Monochloramine Generators used for secondary water treatment, along with ten Continuous Water Quality Monitoring and Monochloramine Stabilizer Panels that monitor and stabilize water quality parameters in various buildings. Contractors are expected to provide all necessary labor, chemical reagents, parts, and maintenance services to ensure these systems operate in accordance with VA program directives. Respondents must submit detailed documentation demonstrating their technical expertise and experience, and include specific business information such as company name, contact details, DUNS and Cage codes, tax ID, and small business classification. The Government emphasizes that responding to this notice does not create any obligation to award a contract or reimburse related costs, and no solicitation request will be answered. While an anticipated total small business set-aside exists, alternate acquisition methods may be considered if responses from Service Disabled Veteran Owned firms are insufficient. Offerors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) and, if applicable, in the VA’s VetBiz registry. Responses are due by December 13, 2019, to the designated contracting officer.
