The Western Area Power Administration (WAPA), Headquarters Electric Power Training Center (EPTC), intends to solicit and negotiate a sole-source, firm-fixed-price contract with Denver Electric Motor (1300 E. 58th Ave, Denver, CO 80216) under the authority of FAR Part 12.
**All responses must be through FEDCONNECT and that any responses sent by other means (e.g., email or verbally) will not be reviewed.**
The service requirement is for the evaluation, disassembly, testing, overhaul, and laser alignment of three (3) identical Miniature Power System (MPS) Motor-Generator (MG) Sets manufactured by Kato Engineering (Model H143950000, 7.5 HP, 1800 RPM). Specifically, the work includes turn/undercut of armature commutators, commutator brush replacement, bearing replacement, steam cleaning/baking of stators, armatures, rotors, and post-installation vibration analysis.
