The U.S. Department of Interior, U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) is issuing this source sought synopsis as a means of conducting market research to identify parties having an interest in and the resources to support this requirement for the potential need for replacement of failed compressor components in the Segment B laboratory nitrogen generator system. Work includes removal and replacement of the existing compressor high pressure pumps and system check valves, clean-out of any debris in the air system and restoration of the existing compressor and delivery system to full functionality. The main objective is to replace four (4) existing failed high pressure air pumps and four (4) check valves on each pump circuit in a Powerex air compressor.

The Powerex compressor manufacturer information is as follows:

All replacement parts must be certified by the compressor manufacturer as fully compatible with this Powerex compressor unit.

Contractor shall install all new components, and perform all service necessary to return compressor to full operation within 10 business days of Notice to Proceed (NTP) by the Contracting Officer (CO)
