The 188th Mission Support Contracting, 188th FW ANG intends to award a purchase order on a sole source basis under the statutory authority permitting Other than Full and Open Competition 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1), as implemented by FAR 6.302-1, Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements. The procedures of FAR 13.106-1(b)(1) will be utilized. The order will be placed with M.I.C. Industries, Inc., 11911 Freedom Drive, Reston, VA 20190. This order is a follow on repair for the Ultimate Building Machine (UBM ) to include all parts and labor. Interested organizations may submit their capabilities and qualifications to perform the effort in writing to the identified point of contact not later than 12:00pm CST April 15, 2015. Such capabilities/qualifications will be evaluated solely for determining whether or not to conduct this procurement on a competitive basis. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed effort on a full and open competition basis, based upon responses to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the government. Oral communications are not acceptable in response to this notice. No RFQ will be issued based upon this Notice of Intent.
