The purpose of this sources sought announcement is for market research to make appropriate acquisition decisions and to gain knowledge of potential businesses interested and capable of providing the services described below. Responses to this notice shall include the following: (a) Company Name, (b) Point of Contact (c) Phone & Email (e) DUNS number (f) Type of Small Business, e.g., Veteran Owned (g) A capability statement that addresses qualifications and verifies ability to perform work described below. The Southern Arizona VA Health Care System (SAVAHCS) located at 3601 South 6th Ave., Tucson AZ, 85723 is seeking a contractor to provide comprehensive annual preventive maintenance and repair service for their Biomedical department for the following equipment; Model: VARISTAIN GEMINI ES Serial Number: RA0551E0707 Slide Stainer: EE#50854 The contractor will perform preventive maintenance inspection on equipment/systems as provided for in the contract agreement. Written preventive maintenance (PM) procedures will be submitted on approval to the Biomedical Engineering section within the first 30 days of the contract period. PMs will be accomplished in accordance with the approved written procedures. Must use OEM parts and service technicians shall be OEM trained on all equipment included in agreement. The Government is not obligated to nor will it pay for or reimburse any costs associated with responding to this sources sought synopsis request. This notice shall not be construed as a commitment by the Government to issue a solicitation or ultimately award a contract, nor does it restrict the Government to a particular acquisition approach. The Government will in no way be bound to this information if any solicitation is issued. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this acquisition is 811310.
