Janitorial Services for the New Middlesex County Governance & Administration Centre

The County of Middlesex is seeking proposals under solicitation MC-2026-25 for comprehensive janitorial and caretaker maintenance services for the Middlesex County Governance and Administration Centre, a 15,000 square foot facility located at 1045 Adelaide Street South in London, Ontario. The selected contractor will provide all necessary labor, materials, and equipment to perform daily cleaning services five times per week, semi-annual specialized services, and ad-hoc requests on an hourly basis. Performance is expected to begin around the anticipated staff occupancy date of January 4, 2027, with services conducted Monday through Friday to ensure the facility is ready for each business day. The contract will be awarded based on best overall value through a two-stage evaluation process. Successful respondents must adhere to strict security clearances, police background checks, AODA standards, and occupational health and safety regulations. Administrative requirements include electronic invoicing in Canadian currency and the maintenance of a daily electronic facility logbook. Proposals must be submitted electronically via the Bids and Tenders portal by October 23, 2026, at 12:00 p.m. EST. Submissions must include the RFP Response Form and adhere to strict page limits, with the total response not exceeding 20 pages and the experience and qualifications section limited to 15 pages.
