The Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) is seeking a contractor to provide comprehensive janitorial services at the Loon Lake Detachment in Saskatchewan. The services include all necessary labor, materials, equipment, transportation, and daily site supervision, with cleaning scheduled three days per week. The contract duration is twenty-four months from the award date, with a non-revocable option to extend for up to three additional one-year terms. The procurement is an open tender but includes a conditional set-aside under the Government of Canada’s Procurement Strategy for Indigenous Business (PSIB), which offers priority to certified Indigenous businesses if at least two compliant Indigenous bids are received, potentially limiting the competition accordingly. Bidders must comply with all solicitation requirements to be considered responsive, with the contract awarded to the lowest priced compliant bidder. Security requirements apply, and a site visit is offered to interested parties. The solicitation and related documents are available through the Government Electronic Tendering Service (GETS), and bidders are responsible for monitoring that site for updates or amendments. The procurement process is managed by the RCMP’s contracting authority, Debbie McPherson, who can be contacted for further information. Additionally, the procurement adheres to supplier integrity and compliance policies and encourages Indigenous businesses to register in the federal Indigenous Business Directory to enhance their visibility and access to set-aside federal contracts.
