Jeske Shoreline Revetment Project

The Jeske Shoreline Revetment Project aims to reconstruct and strengthen an existing shoreline structure along Lake Tahoe to combat erosion and protect the lake’s shoreline integrity. The work will involve reinstalling existing rock material alongside new imported boulders, filter fabric, gravel, and cobbles to reinforce the revetment. Beyond the shoreline, upland efforts will focus on stabilizing adjacent slopes, establishing native vegetation to prevent soil loss, and constructing a rock wall to safeguard the higher ground from accelerated erosion caused by water and weather. Additionally, a new stone step access path will be built to connect the upland area to an existing pier, improving safe and sustainable access while minimizing environmental impact.
