Bidders responding to this selection process are requested to submit a bid in two phases. Phase One bid covers only the qualifications and experience of the Bidder.Following the evaluation of the submissions, Bidders will be advised of their standings. Phase Two Bidders will be provided an Invitation to Tender (ITT) for the financial evaluation in relation to the specifications and drawings.REQUIREMENTParks Canada requires repairs to the Kirkfield Lift Lock for the 2023 operation season. This work includes, but may not be limited to, repairs to the Boat Chambers, Aluminium Boat Chamber Gate Replacement, Electrical and Mechanical System Components of the lift lock, Structural Repairs to Boat Chamber Towers and Balancing and Adjustments to the Kirkfield Lift Lock. These repairs require specialized technical expertise.MANDATORY SITE VISIT There will be mandatory site visit on November 2nd, 2022, at 10:00 AM EDT. Bidders will be required to sign an attendance sheet. Bidders should confirm in their bid that they have attended the site visit. Bidders who do not attend the mandatory site visit or do not send a representative will not be given an alternative appointment and their bid will be declared non-responsive.
