Atomically Precise Molecules (APM)
Solicitation # DARPA-PS-26-141
The Atomically Precise Molecules (APM) program, solicitation DARPA-PS-26-141, is a 36-month initiative by the DARPA Multi X Office seeking innovative synthesis techniques for programmable precision polymers (PPPs) and nonlinear optical (NLO) materials. The program aims to develop scalable materials with strictly controlled monomer sequences and compositions, culminating in a prototype NLO material integrated into a government-provided electro-optic modulator capable of achieving greater than 1THz modulation. The effort is structured in two phases, with Phase I lasting 12 months and focusing on synthesis capabilities. Research limited to inorganic materials or incremental improvements to existing state-of-the-art practices is specifically excluded. Awards will be issued as Other Transaction for Prototype Agreements, with payments processed through the Wide Area Workflow system based on a schedule of milestones. Proposals are due by December 18, 2026, via the Broad Agency Announcement Tool and must include technical, management, and pricing volumes. Eligibility is restricted to U.S. organizations, and all performers must comply with CMMC Level 2 self-certification and NIST SP 800-171 standards for safeguarding Controlled Unclassified Information. Evaluation will be based on technical approach, relevance to the DARPA mission, budget realism, and the capability to transition the technology to military or commercial sectors.

This Other Transaction Solicitation (OTS) Call 70RSAT20R00000021 - Language Translator is a technical call issued under Department of Homeland Security (DHS), Science & Technology Directorate (S&T), Silicon Valley Innovation Program (SVIP), 5-Year Innovation Other Transaction Solicitation (OTS), HSHQDC-16-R-B0005 (current issue). The OTS describes the overarching program details whereas the call describes the specific problem set. For this technical call, DHS is interested in a small handheld device that, when activated, allows the user to interpret a variety of languages quickly, to allow members to carry on two-way conversations in multiple languages. This allows immediate communication between parties, and the conversations are recorded for future playback. This device, once deployed, would work to automatically identify the language, translate and display the conversation in real-time. The translation results should also be displayed on a screen for responders and other parties to see so they can understand each other more quickly and accurately. A technology that is fast, accurate and easy to understand and operate would significantly improve U.S. Coast Guard (USCG) mission capabilities. We advise that you read the documents associated with this Call: Technical Call: Provides the use cases, problem sets, constraints, technical and programmatic requirements and other pertinent submission information. Application: You must complete the application template provided with this call to be considered for award. How to Apply and FAQs: Gives you an overview of the Silicon Valley Innovation Program, how to apply and provides answers to questions we have received. The call is open through 12:00 PM PT 2/20/2021. Applications will be accepted on a continuous, rolling basis. Applications and Application resubmissions received after the closing date/time will not be considered for review. DHS S&T will evaluate applications three (3) times on a quarterly basis. The quarterly deadlines for submitting an application are: 6/22/2020, 10/20/2020 and 2/20/2021. Applications must be submitted prior to a quarterly deadline to be evaluated in the respective quarterly review cycle. Please complete the Language Translator Application and submit to contact@example.gov prior to the deadlines. Please also check this site for updates to the Call.

Recoverable Small Unmanned Aircraft Systems for Frontline Operational Awareness and Surveillance Missions
Solicitation # 70RSAT26RFI000030
The Department of Homeland Security, through the Drone Development Program, is conducting market research via Request for Information 70RSAT26RFI000030 to identify recoverable, reusable, lightweight, and rapidly deployable small unmanned aircraft systems. These multirotor systems are intended to support a wide range of frontline missions, including surveillance, search and rescue, incident response, perimeter security, disaster assessment, maritime awareness, and law enforcement support. DHS is seeking complete kits that include the air vehicle, ground control station, electro-optical or infrared camera payloads, and necessary training and support materials. Key requirements include NDAA compliance and adherence to Blue UAS, Green UAS, or equivalent cybersecurity and supply chain maturity standards. This RFI is for market research purposes only and does not constitute a formal solicitation. However, the government is requesting estimated pricing for quantities ranging from 10 to 50,000 units, noting a target price of approximately 3,000 dollars per kit for high-volume production. Future acquisition strategies may involve a multiple-award IDIQ, catalog-based ordering, or a phased award approach. Interested respondents must submit a cover page, a completed summary table, and a narrative response not exceeding three pages to [email hidden] by November 5, 2026. Evaluation of potential systems may eventually focus on rapid deployment, video quality, range, endurance, and the ability to scale production.

Information Technology Support Services (ITSS)
Solicitation # 70RSAT25FC0000007
The U.S. Department of Homeland Security’s Science and Technology Directorate is preparing to extend Task Order 70RSAT25FC0000007 for Information Technology Support Services with Silosmashers, Inc. under the existing Blanket Purchase Agreement, without competition, for a 10-month period from August 1, 2026, through May 31, 2027. This extension is justified under 41 U.S.C. 3304(a)(1) and FAR Subpart 6.103-1 due to the unique and specialized knowledge Silosmashers holds regarding DHS S&T’s IT infrastructure, workflows, and stakeholder expectations. The contractor provides critical services including enterprise architecture alignment with federal standards such as FEAF and TOGAF, information assurance and ISSO support for classified systems and SCIFs, and day-to-day IT operations including help desk, patch management, and asset tracking. A competitive recompete has been delayed due to FY26 funding lapses, and transitioning to a new vendor before completion of the acquisition process would introduce unacceptable risks including security vulnerabilities, noncompliance with mandates, service disruptions, and mission degradation. The incumbent’s established relationships, institutional knowledge, and continuous operational presence are essential to maintaining uninterrupted support for DHS S&T’s mission-critical systems, including SharePoint, ServiceNow, and Microsoft Power Platform. All hardware, networks, enterprise architecture, information assurance, and service delivery functions are covered under this task order, with performance based in Reston, Virginia, and administrative oversight from Washington, D.C. The requirement is classified as a Total Small Business Set-Aside under NAICS code 541512. While no solicitation document exists and this notice is solely for informational purposes, interested parties may submit their capabilities to the Contracting Officer for potential consideration. The government retains full discretion to proceed with the sole-source modification to ensure continuity of mission support, and all inquiries must be directed in writing to Danette Williams at [email hidden].
