The City of Waco is requesting bids for Landfill Leachate Hauling Services. The successful bidder(s) shall provide all labor, transportation, equipment, materials, permits, and supplies necessary to safely and legally transport leachate generated at a City-operated solid waste landfill facility to a City-operated wastewater treatment facility. Services shall include the loading, transportation, and unloading of leachate from the landfill leachate collection/storage system to the designated wastewater treatment facility. The successful bidder(s) shall provide hauling services between the following locations: • Leachate Loading Location (City Solid Waste Landfill MSW 2400): Address: 4730 TK Parkway, Axtell, TX 76624 • Leachate Disposal Location (Central Wastewater Treatment Plant): Address: 1147 Treatment Plant Road, Waco, TX 76708 • Approximate One-Way Road Distance Between Locations: 20.6 miles • Operation Hours (MSW 2400 & Central Wastewater Treatment Plant): Monday - Friday from 8:00AM until 5:00 PM. The Contractor(s) shall provide pricing based on a per-load rate. Loads shall be transported as full loads only. The City will not pay for underfilled loads or transportation charges based on incomplete loads. The City will pay for partial loads at a pro-rated rate only with prior approval from the Landfill Manager.
