The Embassy of Canada to Japan is seeking a lead generator experienced in the Japanese market, particularly within Tokyo and Yokohama, to facilitate business-to-government matchmaking meetings for a Canadian delegation scheduled on June 1-2, 2026. The purpose of this engagement is to support Foreign Direct Investment by connecting Canadian businesses with Japanese governmental entities across multiple high-priority sectors. These sectors include automotive technologies such as zero-emission and autonomous vehicles, creative industries, digital media, financial services and fintech, infrastructure and smart cities, life sciences including bio/pharma and health IT, advanced manufacturing encompassing aerospace and defense, agrifood and agritech, consumer products, various energy sources, mining and critical minerals, plastics and chemicals, telecom and wireless technologies, applied AI, quantum computing technologies, cybersecurity, and ocean technologies. This opportunity is managed under the Government of Canada’s Department of Foreign Affairs, Trade and Development and is classified as a federal solicitation.
