AI Contract Overview
The Air Force Installation Contracting Command is hosting a Virtual Industry Day on July 21, 2026, to inform industry partners of its intent to develop an enterprise-wide contract for Logistics Readiness Squadron Capabilities, aiming to consolidate over 39 existing contracts into a single Multiple Award Contract with Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity mechanics. This initiative supports LRS functions across Air Force installations in the Continental United States, including surge requirements, with task orders expected to last one to five years and be performed at one or more locations. The anticipated contract has a five-year base period, with potential for performance extending through the final day of the ordering period. The scope encompasses six core functional areas: Materiel Management, Traffic Management, Vehicle Management, Fuels Management, Ground Transportation, and Air Transportation, as detailed in a draft Performance Work Statement. The acquisition will be conducted under NAICS code 561210 with a $47 million size standard. Participation in this event is purely informational and does not constitute a solicitation or commitment to award a contract. The government will not accept unsolicited proposals, nor will it reimburse any costs incurred by respondents. Industry must submit questions by July 10, 2026, to be addressed during the session; no new questions will be taken during the virtual meeting itself, though follow-up questions may be submitted through July 27, 2026, and will be answered and posted publicly via SAM.gov. Only responses submitted through the official questions form are considered, and non-participation will not affect future eligibility if an RFP is issued. The event will be conducted via Microsoft Teams, and all necessary documentation including the draft PWS and question form are available as attachments. Point of contact for all inquiries is Richard Thorp and Lisa Pendragon.
