AI Contract Overview
The 410th Contracting Support Brigade/Regional Contracting Office-Miami, operating under the Department of Defense and supporting US Southern Command, is issuing a Firm Fixed Price contract for the procurement of ManagerPlus Lightning software. The software is critical to enhancing operational readiness across the ten Caribbean Partner Nations’ Defense Forces and Coast Guards supported by the Caribbean Security Basin Initiative’s Technical Assistance Field Team. This sole-source acquisition is justified under FAR 12.102(a), as the partner nations are already entrenched in using the ManagerPlus platform, and switching vendors would risk mission failure. Performance will occur in Miami, Florida, and all communications must be directed to the designated point of contact, Cristina Tellechea, with Sherwin Riley as the secondary contact. The procurement is non-competitive and solely intended to maintain continuity and interoperability with existing systems in use by partner nations.
