The University of Alaska Fairbanks, Geophysical Institute, is identified as the sole source provider for specialized research and development, testing, and engineering services in support of the U.S. Army Contracting Command’s acquisition needs under the Revolutionary FAR Overhaul, specifically FAR 6.103-3, due to the unique and non-competitive nature of the required capabilities. This notice serves exclusively as market research and is not a solicitation, request for proposal, or a commitment to award a contract. Responses are voluntary and will not be compensated, and the government is under no obligation to proceed with any award based on submissions. All interested entities, including small businesses, are encouraged to submit information to demonstrate their qualifications, but only those who meet the pre-qualification standards will be considered as potential sources. The posting is operational through June 22, 2026, with performance expected to occur in Fairbanks, Alaska, while the coordinating office is located in Research Triangle Park, North Carolina.
