The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) has a requirement for the procurement of Qty 4020 Phoenix Contact Surge Protection Devices. (Manufacturer P/N: 2800982) to support the sustainment, maintenance of Mission-Critical Air Traffic Control Systems
The rights to all proprietary information necessary are owned by Phoenix Contact. Therefore, the purchase of Phoenix Contact Surge Protection Devices. (Manufacturer P/N: 2800982) is mandatory to insure precise form/fit/function connection for operational purposes
The responses to this market survey will be used for informational purposes only. This is not a screening information request or request for proposal of any kind. The FAA is is not seeking or accepting proposals at this time. The responses will be used to develop the source list for this requirement. The FAA will not pay for any information received or costs incurred in preparing the response to the market survey. Therefore, any cost associated with the market survey submission is solely at the interested vendor’s expense.
The purpose of this announcement is to solicit statements of interest and capabilities from interested vendors in accordance with FAA Acquisition Management System (AMS) Policy 3.2.1.2.1. and to obtain information that is to be used by the FAA in choosing the method and type of procurement competition to be used to fulfill this requirement.
This market survey is also being conducted in order to obtain the information necessary to determine whether adequate competition exists to set-aside the competition among small businesses, service-disabled veteran-owned small businesses or 8(a) certified firms. The NAICS CODE for this requirement will be 335999, All Other Miscellaneous Electrical Equipment and Component Manufacturing, with a Small Business Size Standard of 600.
