Master Construction Agreement for High Voltage Electric Utility Construction, Maintenance, Repair and Immediate Response Projects

The City of Anaheim Public Utilities Department has established a Master Construction Agreement for high voltage electric utility construction, maintenance, repair, and immediate response projects. This agreement is designed to engage contractors with specialized experience in high voltage electric utility systems to support the operation and maintenance of the electric system, ensure timely infrastructure repairs and improvements, and provide immediate response capabilities during emergency events. The scope of work primarily involves replacements, repairs, maintenance, or small additions throughout the City of Anaheim, California, provided that these projects do not expand or modify the purpose of existing systems. The agreement is valid for a period of up to six years. It has been determined by the City Council that the projects under this agreement are exempt from the California Environmental Quality Act under statutory and categorical exemptions, specifically Sections 15301, 15302, 15303, and 15304. Administrative and risk services for the contract are managed by Jonathan Sanks, the Assistant General Manager, located at 201 S. Anaheim Boulevard in Anaheim, California.
