Mayonnaise Lite

The Oregon Department of Corrections is soliciting bids for the procurement of 2,640 cases of Mayonnaise Lite, to be delivered to the Central Distribution Center in Salem, Oregon. The product must be 100% real Type 1 Mayonnaise, specifically designated as Reduce Fat and Light, processed from food-grade starches and vegetable oils with no separation of oil and water. The total quantity is expected to be delivered as two full truck loads, with the first delivery due within 40 days after receipt of order and subsequent deliveries spaced 30 to 45 days apart. All goods must be delivered FOB destination, with the contractor covering all transportation and handling charges. The contract will be awarded to the responsive and responsible bidder offering the lowest total price, with a 5% to 10% preference given to qualifying Oregon resident bidders. Bidders must adhere to strict packaging requirements, including the use of non-breakable, FDA/USDA approved commercial containers; glass and metal packaging are prohibited. All containers must be code dated with a 5-digit sequence and converted to the Gregorian calendar. Required submittals include a pricing page and signature page, with nutritional labels and product photos provided only upon request. The contractor must maintain auto liability insurance of at least $2,000,000 and comply with all OSHA and Oregon safety regulations. Bids must be submitted via the OregonBuys portal by November 30, 2026.
