The Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA) has a requirement for Registered Nurses and/or Advanced Care Paramedics (hereafter referred to as medical professionals) across Canada on an “as and when requested” basis, to accompany, monitor, assist and provide medical care to: - foreign nationals during removal from Canada; or - individuals detained pursuant to the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act (IRPA) during transport to a detention center. This service is required to ensure the health and well-being of those individuals during the removal process or transport to a detention center, including onboard a commercial airline, chartered aircraft or land transport.
