The procurement is for a single, self-contained, outdoor-rated 20-ton air-cooled industrial process chiller system equipped with an integrated glycol pump and glycol buffer tank, designed to cool a 50/50 propylene glycol and water mixture to 35°F at a flow rate of 60 to 90 GPM for use in condensing and drying water from a hydrogen stream produced by a MultiMegawatt proton exchange membrane electrolyzer. The system must reliably deliver a minimum of 15 tons of cooling at 35°F under 95°F ambient conditions at an elevation of 6,000 feet and be housed in a NEMA 3R-rated enclosure, powered by 480 VAC three-phase electricity, with all electrical components OSHA-approved and NRTL-listed (UL, CSA, etc.). The contract is conducted as a Request for Quote under solicitation RFQ-2026030648, issued by the National Laboratory of the Rockies on behalf of the Department of Energy, with a response deadline of July 20, 2026, at 12:00 p.m. Mountain Time.
