MSGR Chiller Preventive Maintenance Service

The U.S. Embassy Mbabane in Ezulwini, Eswatini, is seeking preventive maintenance services for its air-cooled and modular chillers under a firm fixed-price contract with a base period of one year and up to four one-year option periods, for a maximum total duration of five years. The primary scope includes semi-annual servicing of one York YCAL 0046 air-cooled water chiller with a capacity of 118.9 kW, along with technical check reports and permit management, totaling two service visits per year. All work must ensure systems remain in optimal operational condition, eliminating malfunction, breakdown, or deterioration. Contractors are required to supply and replace expendable parts such as filters, belts, hoses, and gaskets using OEM-approved components, and must adhere to AHRI Standard 700-2015 for refrigerants. Toxic substances like refrigerants must be disposed of in compliance with both U.S. government and local Eswatini regulations, with proof of authorized disposal required. The contract mandates strict adherence to safety protocols, including the use of protective equipment, and prohibits unauthorized handling of sensitive information or government property. All personnel must be vetted, including submission of names, biographic data, and police clearances within 30 days of award, and must be escorted by cleared U.S. personnel for site access, with no keys issued to contractors.
