MSHA - Building 4 Wiring and Conduit Replacement Project

The U.S. Department of Labor, through its Cas Division 4 Procurement office, is seeking industry input for the Building 4 Wiring and Conduit Replacement Project at the Mine Safety and Health Administration’s Approval and Certification Center in Triadelphia, West Virginia. This request for information is not a solicitation for award but a pre-solicitation market research effort aimed at gathering data to shape a future firm-fixed-price contract. The project involves the removal of outdated 500mcm and #12 wiring, installation of new conduit systems and junction boxes, and termination of 700mcm wiring in accordance with technical drawings, all to be performed within a 45-day period following the notice to proceed, Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., excluding federal holidays. Work must comply with NFPA, OSHA, NEC standards, and the Davis-Bacon Act, with all deliverables subject to onsite inspection and acceptance by government representatives at the facility. The goal is to ensure the integrity of testing and certification environments critical to miner safety under 30 CFR.
