NACE FY26 HAZARDOUS TREE CYCLIC MAINTENANCE

The National Park Service is soliciting a firm fixed-price task order for hazardous tree and vegetation management services for National Capital Parks-East (NACE). The contract, set aside for small businesses under NAICS 561730, covers a period of performance from September 30, 2026, to September 29, 2027. The scope of work includes hazardous tree removal, pruning, meadow clearing, storm damage response, and the creation of clear zones along roadsides, trail corridors, and near park facilities. The project is structured around two primary CLINs, each requiring ten 8-hour days of service per month. Technical requirements mandate that all work comply with ANSI Z-133, ANSI A300, and ISA best management practices. The contractor must provide an English-speaking on-site supervisor and a current ISA Certified Arborist to ensure quality control and serve as the primary government contact. Deliverables include a safety plan and personnel certification checklist before work begins, weekly status reports, and a final work treatment log. Traffic control must adhere to MUTCD guidelines, with single lane closures restricted to non-rush hours.
