Interior sleeping quarters and restrooms need to be renovated due to age and deterioration of building surfaces and materials with in. Exterior of building has been deteriorating due to weather conditions and the elements surrounding. If the interior is not renovated to a better standard, occupants staying with in the rooms could be risk of a health hazard. If the exterior is not refinished, the building structure will be at risk of being structurally sound. 6. FULL PROJECT SCOPE: This SOW (Request for Proposal) includes the following work: Per Alex Ibarra: This is the real scope: This project demolishes approximately 32,000 SF of facility FAC#864, at Naval Air Station North Island. The remaining 32,000 SF will be renovated to meet SERE facility requirements. Background: Building 864, 62,735 SF, was built in 1942. The facility is nearly vacant, 57,308 SF. Only 5,427 SF is being used by Family Services. The facility has not been renovated and lack telecommunication services. The facility was originally designed for NGIS, hotels. Though this operation has been relocated to newer and modern facilities.
