The North Carolina Department of Public Safety, Division of Emergency Management, is seeking vendors to establish a service contract for the rental and leasing of mobile fueling stations and temporary above-ground storage tanks. This agreement is specifically designed to address emergency requirements before, during, and after disasters, particularly when pipeline interruptions or other disruptions affect the fuel supply within the state. While the Department of Administration handles normal fuel needs, this contract ensures that state agencies have access to critical dispensing facilities and storage during crises. The scope of the contract covers a wide range of fuel types, including E-10, Ultra-Low Sulfur Diesel #2 Un-Dyed, Propane, Diesel, Gasohol, #6 Residual Fuel Oil, Kerosene, Aviation Gasoline, and Jet A Fuel. This solicitation, identified as Doc2082803038, is open for responses until September 14, 2026. The primary objective is to create a reliable mechanism for the state to secure essential fuel infrastructure to maintain operational capabilities during all-hazards emergency events across North Carolina.
