The U.S. Department of Justice, Drug Enforcement Administration intends to award a sole source purchase order to Port Lee for Porter Lee-Bar Coded Evidence Analysis Statistics and Tracking (BEAST) for Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS) data acquisition.  This vendor uses proprietary systems/reports to generate data and reports needed for the continued operation of the Drug Enforcement Administration’s sponsored National Forensic Laboratory Information System (NFLIS).  The DEA’s NFLIS-Drug data collects drug identification results and associated information from drug cases submitted to and analyzed by participating Federal, State, and Local forensic Laboratories with drug chemistry sections many of whom are ANAB/ASCLD/LAB accredited and conform to the requirements of ISO 9001 and designed to assist forensic laboratories in meeting the requirements of ISO 17025 accreditation.  The government will not modify the data obtained from participating vendors other than to ingest it into NFLIS. This notice is not a request for competitive quotation. The closing date for submitting a capability statement is August 26, 2026 at 4:00 PM Eastern Standard Time (EST).
