--Notice of Intent to Award A Sole Source

This is a NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD A SOLE SOURCE PURCHASE ORDER using the simplified acquisition procedures of FAR Part 13 to: ITT Visual Information Solutions, Boulder, CO, for the procurement of: 6 - Image Access Server (IAS) Server/Convert Master Licenses w/maintenance (2 ea site) 18- IAS Server/Convert Delegate Processor w/maintenance (6 ea site). ITT Visual Information Solutions is deemed the sole developer of the ENVI software currently being used by the U.S. Army Intelligence and Security Command (INSCOM). INTENTION: Award the above-stated requirement directly to ITT. The supplies/services req uired are available from only one or a limited number of responsible sources under the authority of FAR 13.106(b)(1). Interested sources may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. DURATION: All quotatio ns received within 5 days after the publication date of this notice will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed purchase order/contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within its discr etion. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
