The Air Force Life Cycle Management Center (AFLCMC/PZIBA), on behalf of the Air Force Institute of Technology (AFIT/CE), intends to award a sole-source, firm-fixed-price contract to Space and Asset Management Inc. dba Elements IV Interiors, 3680 Wyse Rd, Dayton, OH 45414, for the procurement and installation of systems furniture and flooring at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio.

The requirement is for all supplies, labor, and services necessary to complete Phase 2 of a workspace modernization project. This is a follow-on project that requires new workstations to be physically compatible and fully interchangeable with the existing Haworth furniture system installed during Phase 1. The Government's market research indicates that Haworth products utilize proprietary physical connections, and no other manufacturer produces a compatible system that can meet the Government's essential need for a single, integrated, and reconfigurable workspace.

In accordance with FAR 5.207(c)(15), the justification for the lack of competition is that the required proprietary product is only available from a single authorized source. Therefore, this acquisition is being conducted under the authority of Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 6.302-1.

Submission Instructions and Points of Contact:

Interested parties who believe they can satisfy the requirements must provide a capability statement with clear and convincing evidence of their ability to do so. The statement must demonstrate the vendor's capability to provide systems furniture that is 100% physically compatible and interchangeable with the existing Haworth system, including its proprietary connections. A simple statement of capability is not sufficient.

All responses, questions, and capability statements shall be submitted via email to the following points of contact no later than January 26, 2026, at 11:00 AM Eastern Time.

All correspondence sent via email must contain the subject line: “FA8601-26-Q-0005, F20643-318 AFIT CE Furniture & Flooring Phase 2.” Be advised that emails without this exact subject line or with prohibited attachments (.zip, .exe) may be blocked by network filters. Acceptable attachment formats are .PDF, .doc, and .xls.

This notice is not a request for competitive proposals or quotes. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.

Notice of Intent to Sole Source - Post-delivery support of developed space and ground hardware and software
Solicitation # FA254826RB008
The Space Rapid Capabilities Office (Space RCO) intends to award a sole-source contract to Systems & Technology Research, LLC for post-delivery support of developed space and ground hardware and software. This effort focuses on providing systems engineering support for the verification, validation, and on-orbit troubleshooting of payloads, as well as transitioning a prototype ground system to full operational capability (FOC) within six months of the award to proceed. Key technical requirements include the development of a new graphical user interface, integration of mission-unique software, enhanced telemetry processing for 24/7 operations, and direct integration with the R2C2 Acme Ground Segment using cloud infrastructure and cybersecurity best practices. The contract is structured with multiple CLINs utilizing Cost Plus Fixed Fee (CPFF), Time and Materials (T&M), and Cost Only (No Fee) pricing models. The period of performance includes a mix of one and two-year base periods with multiple one-year option extensions. While the government intends to proceed with a sole-source award under 10 U.S.C. 3204(a)(1) due to the contractor's role as the original developer, other responsible sources may submit capability statements by November 4, 2026. To be considered viable, any alternative response must explicitly prove the ability to achieve FOC within six months and demonstrate integration with the R2C2 Acme Ground Segment without relying on proprietary data.

Solicitation # DAF27BZ01-DV008
Solicitation DAF27BZ01-DV008 is a Directed to Phase II SBIR effort issued by the Department of the Air Force to modernize Technical Data Packages (TDPs) for complex Air and Space Force platforms. The project addresses critical gaps in Information Assurance and secure data exchange, specifically targeting the need for robust configuration control and protection against cyber threats in Model-Based Definition and digital twin environments. The objective is to advance the technology from TRL 4 to at least TRL 6 by developing a functional prototype that aligns with DoD Zero Trust Architecture and Trusted AI and Autonomy priorities. Key technical requirements include the creation of a secure web-based MBD visualization tool, an encrypted configuration management system for as-sustained asset states, automated IA compliance validation tools, and an end-to-end encrypted data exchange framework incorporating AI/ML for damage detection and sustainment planning. This total small business set-aside has a maximum award value of 2,000,000 dollars and a maximum performance period of 24 months. Proposals are evaluated based on technical merit and innovation, qualifications of key personnel, and commercial potential, with a strict requirement for Phase I equivalency documentation to avoid disqualification. Awarded contracts will likely be Firm-Fixed-Price and require compliance with CMMC Level 2 (Self) for safeguarding Federal Contract Information and Controlled Unclassified Information.
