The Naval Information Warfare Center Pacific plans to issue a sole source modification to increase the ceiling of the existing firm-fixed-price IDIQ contract N66001-20-D-3434 for the AN/FPN-68A Precision Approach Radar system hardware. This modification will raise the contract ceiling by up to $2 million to procure necessary components such as transmit/receive modules, waveform generators, up converters, circuit card assemblies, power supplies, and electromechanical relays. These items are intended to ensure compatibility and interoperability with current AN/FPN-68A operating systems that support both Air Force Bases and Foreign Military Sales locations. The contract falls under NAICS code 334511 and is set to remain open until July 23, 2024, if all options are exercised. Funding will be provided at the task order level, and only one responsible source is deemed capable of meeting the agency’s requirements, precluding competition in this instance. The justification for this sole source action will be posted per federal acquisition regulations, and this notice does not solicit competitive proposals or limit the government’s acquisition strategy. For inquiries, the point of contact is Johannes Cardenas via his Navy email.
