Per the requirements of the Flight Standards Service, most FAA pilot/inspectors work with both the ATR-42 and ATR-72 and the contractor is required to use both ATR-42 and ATR-72 simulators for course 28080. FlightSafety International, INC. is the only operator with both an ATR-42 and ATR-72 active simulators as registered in the FAA National Simulator Program website (http://www.faa.gov/about/initiatives/nsp/data_lists/).
