The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers - St. Paul District intends to award a sole source contract to American State Equipment Co. Inc. to supply and install a replacement Master Control Node for a Manitowoc 14000 Crane at the USACE Fountain City, WI service base. This requirement must be fulfilled using genuine OEM parts programmed by a certified technician. It is believed that this firm is the only responsible source able to fulfill this requirement. This notice satisfies the requirement at FAR 5.201(b)(1), to publicize the proposed contract action. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals or quotes. No solicitation documents are available; however, all responsible sources that believes that they can meet the requirements may give written notification to the Contracting Officer within 3 Days from the date of publication of this notice. Supporting evidence must be furnished in enough detail to demonstrate compliance. Information must be sent electronically to John Riederer, Contract Specialist, at John.P.Riederer@usace.army.mil. Responses must be received within 03 days of publication or by May 22, 2026 at 11:00 AM (CDT) to be considered.
