The Program Executive Officer for Integrated Warfare Systems (PEO-IWS) has developed the Software, Hardware Asset Reuse Enterprise (SHARE), a specialized library of combat system software and related assets intended to support contractors working on Navy Surface Warfare Systems. The library is designed primarily for use by contractors currently engaged in active Navy contracts focused on warfare or weapons system software development and maintenance, either as prime contractors or subcontractors. Contractors without such contracts may gain access through a Cooperative Research and Development Agreement with a Navy entity. Access to SHARE requires strict security measures, including Secret-level facility and personnel clearances, completion of a DD Form 254, and execution of a license agreement and non-disclosure agreement. Users must submit a written justification detailing their Navy contract involvement, the specific work performed, and the relevant assets requested. Registration for SHARE is conducted online through an unclassified site, which provides information on available library materials and hosts the required agreements. Materials from the library will be accessible either online via a classified site or through physical media delivery. Due to potential IP restrictions on the unclassified registration website, interested companies may need to contact a helpdesk for access approval. It is important to note that access to SHARE assets is strictly for Government purposes, is voluntary, and does not carry any warranty. This effort is not a solicitation but a resource intended to facilitate collaboration and improvement within Navy Surface Warfare Systems projects.
