Full Description

The Internal Revenue Service (IRS) Midstates Procurement Branch intends to issue a Purchase Order on a sole source basis to Walz Label & Mailing System, located at 624 High Point Lane East Peoria, IL 61611-9329, for extended warranty for one folder/inserter machine and three versa feeders. The Extended warranty includes quarterly preventative maintenance calls, parts, labor, travel and service calls in-between preventative maintenance calls. The equipment is located at 1201 N. Mitsubishi Motorway Bloomington, IL 61705.Waltz Label & Mailing System has the Proprietary rights for the maintenance of this equipment. This notice is neither a request for proposal nor a solicitation of offers. Based on the requirements, the Government intends to solicit and award with one source under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b)(1). A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed requirement on a full and open competitive basis is solely within the discretion of the Government.
