This procurement has been set aside under the federal government's Procurement Strategy for Indigenous Business (PSIB). In order to be considered, a supplier must certify that it qualifies as an Indigenous business as defined under PSIB and that it will comply with all requirements of PSIB. The Department of National Defence has a requirement for a Contractor to print the four quarterly editions of the Canadian Military Journal in Canadian English and Canadian French, with an additional option each year to print a fifth special edition. The contract has a period of one year with the irrevocable options to extend the Contract by up to 2 additional 1-year periods. The Crown retains the right to negotiate with suppliers on any procurement.
