TITLE: PSEC Room 130 Freezer Refurbishment, West Vancouver, B. C. PROJECT DESCRIPTION: The work of this Contract is comprised of the renovation of the walk-in freezer at the Pacific Science Enterprise Centre (PSEC) and the provision of all labour, materials, and equipment necessary to complete the work. The project is located at 4160 Marine Dr, West Vancouver, BC. Work under this Contract includes the following as outlined in the specifications: • Removal of current walk-in freezer o Provision of portable refrigeration unit or reefer trucks for use by the facility during the time period the existing freezer will be out of service o Demolition and removal of existing insulated wall panels and doors o Retain or preserve mechanical equipment, electrical components, and existing finishes deemed for re-use o (Optional) Saw cutting and removal of concrete topping down to existing underslab insulation at the perimeter of the 4-degree freezer area. • Construction of current walk-in freezer o Supply and installation of new insulated wall panels, doors, dividers, and storage shelving o Installation of mechanical and electrical components, including re-installation of existing equipment, to freezer functionality o Restoration of existing finishes o Commissioning of completed freezer
